President

Miles Bellaire

Miles Bellaire is a senior studying Computer Science from New Orleans, Louisiana.  He has been rowing for the past three years and is excited to be the team’s Vice-President.  Being the third rower in his family, he is looking forward to growing and setting the team on a good path for the future.

Secretary

Emma DeMario

Emma is a sophomore majoring in architecture from Carroll County, Maryland. She spends her time running around barefoot at regattas and trying to convince other rowers in her boat to jump in the water with her. The only thing she likes staring at more than strangers is the sunrise off the LSU dock during morning practice!

Treasurer

Assane Ndiaye

Membership and Publicity Coordinator

McKenley Hobson

McKenley is a sophomore majoring in Theatre Technology from Long Beach, MS. You can always find her reading a book, posting on the LSU Rowing social media, or on the water. Although she is currently serving the team as a coxswain, she is handy with the blade and will jump in at a moment's notice.

Women's Captain

Adison Gibson

Adison is a sophomore majoring in psychology, pre-med. She has rowed for 6 years and is excited to continue this streak at LSU. She loves going on walks and dancing like no one is watching, when no one is watching. If you're trying to find her at a regatta, she is probably the one staring avidly at the boats racing down the course.

Men's Captain

Colin Herke

Colin is a junior majoring in civil engineering. He owns a bike worth more than his car and treats it as such. When he graduates, he plans to win the lottery and go expedition cycling across the world. Until then, he will be haunting the ergs and yelling "WATTS" at anyone 5k testing.

Coach

Sandy Bellaire

Sandy Bellaire rowed as a port oar at George Washington University from 1989 thru 1993 where he was a 3 year letterman and stroke of the men’s varsity lightweight 8. Post colligate rowing has included coaching and training out of Thompson’s Boat Center in Washington DC. Sandy is excited for the opportunity to be a part of LSU rowing and to help the program reach it’s potential.
